Celebrating Black Music Month with Limited Edition packaging that promotes non-profits
Hershey wanted to build a new program around Black Music Month. The idea was to use the Kit Kat brand to help promote the cause marketing campaign. We concepted different ways to approach the project and landed on using black-artists to develop illustrations that celebrate the great music that originated in six cities across the USA. Non-profit organizations that helped youth through music were identified in these cities and incorporated into the campaign. They were promoted on packaging and in marketing efforts. Helping to bring attention to well deserved groups at the forefront of youth development in diverse communities.
